Part of the Miniature Clip Mic (MCM) system, the Neumann MC 8 is a magnetic clip used to mount the SH 150 MCM gooseneck inside or on a grand piano or upright piano. The gooseneck attaches to the clip via a holder that rotates along one or two axes and locks in 45° increments to prevent cable twists and allows for precise and reliable positioning of the microphone over the instrument.
Easy to use, the MC 8 features a magnet that keeps the clip in place and a rubber coating that ensures slip-free attachment without damaging the sensitive surfaces on the instrument.
