The POLAR MK2 subwoofer
The POLAR MK2 subwoofer delivers powerful low bass that can not only be heard, but felt. Instead of artificial filtering, the new design relies on real physical advantages: A stable, voluminous wooden enclosure minimises resonance and, in combination with high-performance long-throw woofers, ensures clear, dry bass with impressive depth. Compared to the classic POLAR series, the subwoofer offers more bass reserves in a more compact design. Conveniently placed recessed handles facilitate transport, and a padded protective cover is included. An optional roller board is available for even greater convenience.
Model overview – Which POLAR MK2 is right for you?
The more compact POLAR 10 MK2 already offers everything users could want from a column system. POLAR 12 MK2 is the perfect solution for DJs who rely on powerful, deep sound in continuous use. Thanks to its generously dimensioned cabinet and powerful 12″ woofer, the POLAR 12 MK2 delivers exactly the extra bass that real low-frequency fans love. The POLAR 12 MK2 is also the first choice for live bands with drums and acoustic sets with cajon – uncompromising, powerful and impressive in sound.

All POLAR systems can be expanded with subwoofers from the SONAR series (SONAR 115 Sub D) and thus grow with your requirements. For example, with POLAR 12 MK2 in a stereo setup and two SONAR 115 Sub D as an extension, you can provide sound for up to approx. 350 people.
Technology in detail – the features of the POLAR MK2 series
Aluminium column profile with new connector
The mid/high unit is embedded in a stable, low-resonance aluminium profile. This ensures minimal cabinet resonance, distortion-free sound reproduction even at high volumes and a high-quality look and feel. The redesigned connector between the subwoofer, spacer and column enables a firm, secure connection. The signal routing is protected against shocks and short circuits.
High-quality design – also available in white
The aluminium column and the more compact subwoofer housing form a harmonious, modern design concept. The system is also available in white – ideal for stylish events and weddings.
Variable column configuration
POLAR MK2 can be set up with or without spacers. This makes it ideal for use as a monitor system or on low stages. The wide dispersion pattern ensures even sound coverage for standing or seated audiences.
Flexibly expandable system
A POLAR MK2 system is already a complete PA system. For larger sound reinforcement areas, two systems can be connected to form a stereo setup – even wirelessly via Bluetooth TWS. The bass range can be extended with additional SONAR 115 Sub A subwoofers.
Bluetooth 5.0 and True Wireless Stereo (TWS)
Two POLAR MK2 systems can be paired wirelessly to deliver true stereo sound via Bluetooth. The connection is stable and enables long ranges for modern, wireless audio streaming.
Integrated 4-channel mixer
Two microphone/line channels with XLR/jack combo sockets, a high-impedance instrument channel and an aux channel (also for Bluetooth) cover almost all applications. A master volume control with level indicator allows central volume control. No external mixer is required for many applications.
Phantom power for microphone inputs
The two microphone inputs have switchable phantom power. This allows high-quality condenser microphones to be used to exploit the full sound potential.
USB-C charging port
A USB-C port on the control panel supplies power to smartphones, tablets or wireless microphone receivers. This ensures that mobile devices are powered without a separate power supply – ideal for long periods of use.
Professional DSP tools
Three sound modes (Music, Voice, DJ) and five storable user presets allow quick and individual sound tuning. A 3-band master EQ with semi-parametric mids and a system delay adjustable in metres allow precise adjustment to the room acoustics.
Lightweight and easy to transport – everything included
Each POLAR MK2 system comes with a padded carrying case for the column elements and a protective cover for the subwoofer. A rolling board is available as an option.
