The black ES931 from Audio-Technica is a 10.7" low-profile gooseneck microphone designed for ceiling installation and engineered to deliver quality sound reinforcement for meeting and event spaces, houses of worship, boardrooms, and similar environments.
This version of the microphone features a narrow MicroLine polar pattern, which uses both an interference tube and a pressure-gradient capsule to create a very narrow pickup pattern with a 90° acceptance angle, focusing audio capture tightly on the subject. The ES931's versatile modular design offers several mic capsule options (available separately) with varying polar patterns, allowing you to tailor the mic to your application. The microphone's TA3F output connects to the included power module, which features screw-terminal output connectors and a standard electrical plate cover with a white finish for quick and easy installation.
